You're not going to have much success with hearing Thurmont, as they're part of the Fred county trunk. However, we do have this;

MSP Frederick is on 39.40, but you're going to need something better than a little stick to hear 'em. I'm not sure which freqs Trooper 3 would use, presumably they'd be on the EMRC channels at some point, along with 44.74. Frederick county is region 2 73 Mike

Hi Guys,

A close friend of mine has given to me to program the Subject unit. I am
not familiar with this unit other then I suspect that it only goes to
470Mhz, and that the reason she can't hear some of the good stuff going on
here in Frederick County, MD.

Questions:

1] does anybody have a users manual for this unit on line?

2] I suspect that since she turned it off a while back, that the unit may
contain a battery for the C-mos memory and that the battery probably
needs replacing??

3] I need to find the following frequencies:

        Frederick County Fire-Rescue

        Trooper 3

        Md State Police (Frederick County, MD)

        Thurmont Police

Thanks for your help.

Howard W3CQH
