[Scan-DC] Did a DC-3 just fly over Alexandria?

It certainly sounded like one, headed east, directly over the Del Ray,
George Washington Middle School area. By the time it dawned on me that
this was not a usual aircraft sound and that I should go outside, the
aircraft was in the distance. I should have acted more quickly.
