[Scan-DC] Mt. Vernon; zoo?

Thanks Dave! Interestingly, the one frequency I found at Mt. Vernon is not
in the RR list. Also, today I found some freqs at the zoo that are not in
the RR list either. For what it's worth, here's what I found on Close Call
(all analog) at the Zoo:
NATIONAL ZOO 6/22/08
o Mostly parking, plus some other ops (very active): 463.975
(output)/468.975 (input) (both DCS632)
o General ops: 409.425 & 418.425 (not in the RR list). These freqs weren't
as active, plus the 409.425 MHz channel has constant once-per-second key-ups
(approximately) for some reason. It makes it difficult to include it in your
scan list.
At Mt. Vernon, they offer what they call an "Antenna Audio Tour," which is a
little radio receiver you rent for $6 that provides additional information
on the various things that you see. I believe it may just tune into
low-power transmitters placed at each point-of-interest, but CC did not lock
on to anything. Next time I go I may rent one just to get the FCC ID off of
it so I can look up what frequency it uses. It's possible that it uses
something that CC would not get, like spread spectrum at 902 - 928 MHz, or
it uses a band that the 246T doesn't support, like 315 MHz. If anyone knows
anything about this system, please chime in.
Regards,
Andy
