In one of my bounced msgs, I mentioned that I had gone to Wolf Trap (the barns) last night - when we came out after the show at 2230 it was pouring over there... drove all the way home to the significant other's place in Silver Spring in it... she said she was glad I was driving! Yeah, there are several low spots in Montgomery that are predictable trouble spots if we get a deluge... I did hear one out here at some point later in the evening when I was on the way home, can't remember where it was now but it surprised me because it was on a main road and not a usual trouble spot - my branes are going.

I kinda recall that thing up in Frederick - not sure where or when tho. What amazes me is the kayakers who go on the Potomac after a big rain or melt and then have to be fished out...
