David:
No offense taken on my part, was just adding information. Companies
compete and everyone believes their own company is 'the best'. Nothing
wrong with that. (It's the American way LOL).
I think it really depends on what "you" want in a paging service and how
many pages you want to get. If you are getting charged 'per page' then you
may not want to get all kinds of little things every day that quickly add up
come billing time.
To keep this in a scanning realm, I listen primarily to Frederick County
Md using a variety of scanners, including a Plectron (46.340) as well as a
RS Pro 92, RS trunker 2050, and an earlier Uniden. My car has a Pro-92 as
well. Frederick county still is 'hear-able' using old crystals on 39.020
(Sheriff), 39.400 (MSP 'B') and 46.340 (Fire Main). Carroll County you can
still hear dispatch on 33.940 (Fire Main) and MSP (39.520 MSP 'G').
