[Scan-DC] 2 Montgomery County Incidents

All,

Montgomery County PD and fire are working 2 incidents - fatal auto accident at Dr. Bird Road and Norwood Road in Olney area - I just heard one of the Sandy Spring medic units xport a trauma code to Montgomery General Hospital (very close to accident scene).  PD operations for this should be on the Wheaton (PD district 4) talkgroup, fire/rescue was on 7-Charlie I think.

Also, 6th district police (Gaithersburg) is working something in the 400 / 500 block of South Frederick Avenue (Route 355), a media staging area is in a small shopping center at 355 and Teacher's way - this is near Gaithersburg High School and Summit Hall (Turf) Farm Park... a search is being conducted of a pond in the vicinity... apparently all of this is connected with an assault, believe they are looking for perps but may also have some in custody (they were going to do "showups" - I was dozing off when all this went down so not entirely sure what took place)... also heard something about a subject hiding in the rest room of a Roy Rogers restaurant at Lost Knife and Oden'hal Road, one PD unit was going to go there but I missed the upshot of that.  I think the PD command bus has also been requested.

Opns for this were on the 6th police district talkgroup and fire 7 Golf, I also heard something about a unified command channel, not sure what that is.
