Aha... I wondered if something was going on... thought I heard some military jet noise in the Gaithersburg area last night, and not sure I don't hear something in the distance now (Wed 2245). Is the P going to Camp David for Thanksgiving? Yahoo Maps sez 40 miles from Gburg to Thurmont... let's see, at 600 mph that's... D = RxT. so T = D/R, right?
"If an F-22 flies at 600 mph, how long will it take one to fly 40 miles?"
A. 40 minutes
B. 4 minutes
C. 15 minutes
D. 40 seconds
E. 15 seconds
Well, anyway, I figure that if they're at Maximum Warp over Thurmont and they hit the brakes while headed this way, we're certainly within easy range!
By the way, one of the MSP helicopters (I presume Chooper 8, my name for it) was apparently doing touch-and-gos (goes? what's the plural of go?) late this afternoon (1630ish) while I was outside "warshing" the cars... I was too lazy to put the scanner on the helo unicom frequency.
