All,
The Strideburg multicoupler is a very good piece of
equipment.
John (I think) mentioned a 3 dB loss. The Strideburg
MCA204 doesn't have any loss. In fact it has ~4 dB of
gain at 60 MHz and then peaks at ~615 MHz with 6db of
gain. It then slopes to 0 dB at 1300 MHz. It has an
active front end amplifier followed by 4(?) outputs.
Above 1300 MHz, the attenuation gets pretty steep.
I swept a MCA204 with a network analyzer and have the
plot saved in Excel if anyone is interested. I would
have attached it if I could attachments through the
list.
If you want the plot, email me directly and I'll send
it to you.
