COMCARE, NCOIC, and American Red Cross to Co-Host Interoperability for
Informed Emergency Response Event.  The event will be held on March
15th at the Washington Court Hotel in Washington, DC and will feature
opening remarks from Senior Vice President and CIO of American Red
Cross Steven Cooper and Honorable Jay Cohen, Under Secretary for
Science and Technology at the Department of Homeland Security. The day
will focus on advancing interoperable emergency communications, and
culminate on the Hill with an interoperability demonstration
showcasing agency to agency communications, agency to public
communications for alerts and warnings and Radio over Internet
Protocol (ROIP) interoperability.
