With my original scanner, a Montgomery Ward 856 four-channel crystal
scanner made by Sharp, I had no problem hearing 160.230 from northern
Virginia. My programmable handheld scanners are harder of hearing, but my
recently acquired PRO-2006 can hear trains in Maryland from Alexandria.
I used to chase the MARC F-units back in the 80s. I have pictures of them
out to Brunswick.
Thanks for the frequencies.
