[Scan-DC] New scanner programming?

If I were to buy another scanner today I would certainly consider all the  
possibilities,  there are more choices now.  But I'm not going to replace  
it just because someone else doesn't like it:)

The original question though was how to program a scanner a person already  
had, not which one to choose.
