I've heard WTOP, 1500, at the Kennedy Space Center during daylight hours.
It can regularly be heard down there at night. When I worked at TOP, MANY
years ago, we used to get occasional QSL cards from SWLs in Europe. 50kw,
with a NE-SW pattern, can really propagate with a frequency just below 160
meters.
