Doug:
You can get just about all you want on the Ocean City trunked system. All
of the good Coast Guard stuff is patched onto one of their talk-groups.
Also be sure to monitor TGs 10 and 11, the main Beach Patrol TG and its TAC.
The OC trunked system even includes a patch to one of its TGs from the Ocean
City airport's unicom.
You might, also, want to give a listen to the FDNY VHF freqs, 154.43,
154.40, 154.37, 154.25 and 154.19 and see if you can hear them. I have,
when the band is open, from inside my condo at the beach, just using the
rubber-duck on my Pro-96.
OC ham repeater is 147.015, but there's not much activity on it.
