[Scan-DC] "Activity ID" on Trunked Systems

Yeah, that's it... also had this private reply from Alan Coccio:

"Doug, when you turn the Activity ID to "on" within the menu, the display
will flash all active talkgroups within a trunked system while you're
listening to another. It's one of my favorite features on the Unidens. It
simply lets you see which other talkgroups are active within the system
while you're parked on one of them. For instance, while I'm listening to a
police talkgroup on my Anne Arundel County system, if I see the talkgroup 16
flashing, I know Fire Dispatch is suddenly active and can switch to that
talkgroup to see what's going on.

Thanks all.

Larry, we're talking about the term "Activity ID" that can sometimes be seen
in the display of the Uniden trunking scanners.

Again, thanks, everybody. Now I see not only the meaning of it, but the
significance as well. And using the BuTel programming software for the
Unidens, this feature can apparently be turned off as well... I need to play
with that.

Regards,

Doug
