DISASTER DRILL
DRILL *** DRILL *** DRILL *** DRILL *** DRILL *** DRILL
Largo, MD - A large group has gathered for an event at Bowie BaySox
Stadium, when an unexpected severe storm evolves. The remnants of a
hurricane have produced a fast-moving weather front that has come
through Prince George's County, spawning several tornadoes. There is
widespread damage throughout the area. All power is lost, and many of
the roads are impassible. Telephone lines are down, and the cellular
system is down or overloaded. Dozens of people are injured and
trapped beneath debris inside the stadium. There is panic amongst the
crowd, and stadium security is overwhelmed. Hope of help arriving
soon has quickly diminished. Also in attendance at Bowie BaySox
Stadium is a group of Fire/EMS and Police Explorers. These high
school-aged teens are newly trained in first aid and emergency care.
They are uninjured and pressed into immediate action, to provide first
aid and incident management.
How will they handle the situation?
