I suspect nbc and ny1 are at Islip because they read this e-mail list!  I've 
had the Boston and NY bureaus of the news organization for which I work 
check with the FAA and the NY Port Authority and those agencies claim to 
know nothing.  Seems strange that an aircraft with "six souls" on board 
would be hijacked and that first reports were of engine troubles.  Then, 
there's the change of N numbers.  So, my guess is someone with a radio was 
playing games.
