Gentlemen -- you know.... in Amateur Radio emergency communication drills we
tend to be very careful to precede and follow EVERY possibly inflammatory
statement/message/transmission with the word "DRILL" or something like that
so that the whole system doesn't come unglued.  Don't these 'public
servants' have any sense that there is a real potential for unanticipated
consequences from calls/broadcasts like this/that?  Oh, sure -- they will
certainly say that nobody should HEAR what they say -- but people do hear,
and they WILL hear, and as sure as I'm concerned about this, someday there
is going to BE an unanticipated consequence, and somebody will suffer
greatly from it.  Does this make any sense to anybody else?  For my money,
our Public Servants really ought to start thinking a little bit more
professionally as regards their gaming and drills communications.  After
all, if AMATEURS can think of these things, why can't the PROFESSIONALS?
