The staff of the World Utility News group has gotten this question so
many times we now have a report on our website to answer Travis'
question. EAM broadcast are transmitted in several areas of the radio
spectrum including 311.0, 321.0 and 323.8 MHz to name a few. The most
commo place to catch EAM broadcast is in the HF spectrum.

For Travis and the rest of the list who want to learn about EAM
broadcast go to: http://www.wunclub.com/files/eam.html

You will also find EAM afreqs and much more in my current monthly WUN
newsletter Military-Government HF column at:
http://www.wunclub.com/newsletter/v10/n12/mla.html

And finally you will find additional information and frequencies
including EAM broadcast frequencies in the Monitoring Times Reference
Library on our website at:
http://www.monitoringtimes.com/html/reference_library.html

As always all this stuff is FREE!!!

Has anybody heard these before? What are they? I had a very strong
signal in Loudoun Co, even when I switched to FM. I recorded it but I
still can't make out what he identifies himself as at the end.
