I got this reply from some Kahleefornyans:

Subject: Re: CHO Frequencies

In the Death Valley and general Owens Valley areas, CHP uses the "Gold"
frequency, dispatchers transmit on 42.12 mHz, and the cars transmit on
42.20
mHz, from their Bishop Dispatch Center.  In some areas of the state the
cars' messages are "repeated" on the dispatcher frequency, but I don't
know
if that's the case up there.

Unit designations begin with a number identifying the office...
Bridgeport
Units are "71-xx"; Bishop office are "72-xx" and Mojave are "59-xx"
units. I
assume Death Valley is mostly in the Bishop area.

Here's what I have for NPS in Death Valley, though it's a couple years
old:

Park Rangers 1    170.100
Park Maintenance    171.700
Federal Law Enforcement 5    166.125
USDI Air Safety common   172.600
Federal Dispatch (Link?)  417.575

Business
Furnace Creek Lodge  151.835
Furnace Creek Airport Advisory   122.800

Harry
