Thanks, Jeff, I was gonna look it up but you saved me the effort!

As I mentioned on the list, since the radio is designed for both base and 
mobile use, I would think that temps in the +20s or 30s, shouldn't be that 
bad... heck, it should be good down to freezing, anyway.  I suspect a 
combination of things - the car electrical system, the cold(er) weather, and 
possibly operator error, since I'm still figuring this thing out!
