[Scan-DC] jet noise Gaithersburg?

Mea bozo. As it turns out, I guess at least some of what I was hearing
_was_ (is!) the wind... now that it's picked up some.
Strangely enough, tho, the trees outside didn't seem to be moving around
much, and I was only hearing it in this one room (which is in the corner of
the house, that may account for it.)
An earptical illusion, I guess...
Also, weatherwise and informationwise - Montgomery Fire just announced icy
road conditions... dry here, but in looking at some of the traffic cams
http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/tmctmpl.asp?url=/content/dpwt/operations/tmc/cam.asp
some of the down-county roads appear wet. A lot of accidents & related
activity on the fire channels... nothing serious. My mom just called from
the White Oak/ Colesville area of Silver Spring and said that their grass is
covered with snow... no sign of it on any of the traffic cams I looked at
tho!
