[Scan-DC] Hagerstown area

I can help with Hagerstown, Washington County....

Up on Quirauk is mostly public service, cell, and of course, the military.

Its been a long time since I have been up there (Not in the Military
anymore), but they run links from a couple of military places close by. I
do not remember seeing HF antennas up there.

Its also a great place to run QRP or contest from.

Also, in case any has noticed, Camp David has gone totally digital. They
used to do radio/patrol/ checks and general traffic in the clear, but have
gone totally digital.

Site R FD is still loud and clear from their base, but you have to be on the
same side of the mountain to hear the fire engines.

Hope that helps out, if not, be more specific and I will see what I can
find...

Carl

Blake in the off chance no one replies, there is a Scan Hagerstown Yahoo
group where you're more likely to get a response. The URL is:

  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Scan-HagerstownMD/

Not a real big group, but perhaps someone there can help.
