Hi,

I heard two USAF Air Mobility Command Transport on HF.

Sun, August 29

2256 UTC
  Reach 334 or 234
8906 KHz asking for clearence to a number of waypoints including Travis.

2349 UTC - Same aircraft asking for clearence again

Mon, August 30, 0144 UTC
Reach 726 made contact with New York radio.

Most activity in the evening local time is at:

4675 North Atlantic / Artic D route
8825 Nat-A route
8906 Nat-A route

In the afternoon is at:
13306
17946

Thanks for everone who sent me some links and offered information.

I did a search and found some good pages:

Major World Air Route Area - North Atlantic Area has a map and a list of frequencies
http://www.milaircomms.com/mwara_north_america.html

This page has some useful information
http://www.dxworld.com/hfaero.html

I heard New York ATC (via HF radio) asking all planes heading east to contact New York Center on a VHF frequency, but not Washington Center.

I'm assuming that international flights from Europe to Dulles Airport head towards Gander, Canada or New York before turning south towards Washington, D.C.

Equipment used:
Kenwood TS-440, 5 band trap vertical antenna by Hustler.

73,
    Simadan B.
