Who care's about apples & oranges.
At the end of the day what does matter is how the radio performs.If a "DSP"
radio does better things for me than a non-DSP radio then guess
what....I'll take the DSP radio.
Both the 780 & the PCR1000,in this case,are used for mil-air monitoring.I
want to know,when looking for feed-back from owners,how each performs.It
does not matter if one or the other has DSP or not.It does not matter if a
problem lies with the "transmitter" or if,& this one's a reach,I'm pushing
a radio too hard.What DOES matter is how the radio handles these *problems*.
The PCR1000 in two "feed-back" posts did better than the 780 re
intermod/images.A diatribe on why this can not be fact but only because the
owner is to dumb to know how to use his/her radios or describe an exact use
of a word will not change the end result.
