Weeeellllllll. Looks like I had quite a few freqs go active for me for this
2 day period. Might have had some nice notes "IF I HAD REMEBERED TO PLUG IN
THE FLIPPIN' AUDIO CORD!" Did not even notice it was not plugged in till
about 4PM Sunday. So out of 54 separate audio clips, I only had recorded
audio on the last 9.
300.625
Used as interplane. Brief hit. Nothing gained
386.85
Unexplainable comms. I was definitely scanning this one in the wrong mode.
Suspect I should have been in WBFM on this one. BTW, It was active like this
one and off all weekend per my logs.
341.9
Used as interplane, could not get anything useful out of it even though the
comms were reasonably clear.
349.9
Brief comms but could have sworn I heard A/C 312 calling ROMAN base.
Also, I did not have any audio recorded but Sunday late afternoon/early
evening we had several flights up from the DC ANG doing some A/A intercept
training on 139.5. I don't normally monitor that freq but I have it in FM
mode on another scanner and noticed the activity. Switched it over to AM and
had a sky full of them. They were working PAX controllers as well as working
some Gk freqs as well. I don't remember which ones.
BTW, now have official Sticky Note on the 'puter reminding self to
double-check that all cables and cords are hooked up properly before leaving
computer. Daaaaahhhhh. At least it was just the patch cable this time. A
year or to ago I scanned for several days without realizing the antenna had
become disconnected when the wife cleaned my radio shack. Lessons learned.
1. Plug in all cables then double check. 2. Don't let wife in shack. ;-)
