I would have a greater concern with an agency putting out a very strong 
signal on 155.340, and using the channel for interoperability.

I presume there are hospitals and ems agencies in the Mid-Atlantic region 
that are still dependent on this frequency for establishing enroute-to-facility 
communications to pass patient condition information.
