299.3
Heard REDHAWK 722 calling REDHAWK 733 in the Blind on BASE EFREQ. Later
heard REDHAWK 722 calling maintenance reporting ETA and about 70 miles =
out.
This pretty muck cinches this one as far as I am concerned. Lynn Burke
offers up "HC-2 RED HAWK CH-53/VH3 NAS Norfolk" which is the same as =
what
I came up with Gonna put a tag on it as "NGU VH-2 - BASE OPS/MAINT" for =
now
and may try later for additional detail if warranted.
247.4
Garbled comms. Still strongly suspect image from 123.7 in use at PAX. =
That's
enough for me. I have never heard enough clear comms on this one to even
assume it is a good freq as is. I am certain it is the image from 123.7 =
and
am just gonna lock this out.
230.1
I have finally heard enough on this one for a tag. At PAX there is the
program called H-1 UPGRADES. They have the new AH-1Z Cobra (so new they =
are
also calling it the VIPER), also they have they UH-1Y model. I have =
multiple
logs on this freq of ZULUs and YANKEES working with their BASE =
OPS/MAINT. So
I have tagged this one NHK H-1 UPGRADES - BASE OPS/MAINT.
227.5
"305 this is Reach 350TANGO advising Unk that he was up on "?COMPANY
UNIFORM?", (Not sure what that one means if someone could offer up
clarification). Reach 305T did not sound like they had made contact.
245.65
Weak comms, appeared to be A/C using as an A-A freq while conducting ACM =
in
possible GK area. They stated C/S but was weak, "????? 12".
300.825
Flight of 2 conducting ACM in possible GK area. Possible C/S was "ZACK" =
but
not sure as comms were weak. Toward the end I thought I heard a =
reference to
POPE. I'll keep working this one.
282.75
DRAGNET coordinating A/C (likely BRAVES - DC ANG) for ACM in likely GK =
area.
279.575
DREGO or DRAGO 51, (Could someone offer info for correct spelling on =
that?),
flight of 2 Direct Nottingham. Wants to hold about 15 miles SE of
Nottingham. Was told there was a DEMO flight scheduled on the NORFOLK =
area,
so I assumed they were heading down there for that. As for the freq, on =
MD
AERO page it has " 279.5750 Washington Approach" That's about all I =
can
find on it. From past logs, I catch DREGO on this freq regularly, as a
matter of fact that is the only C/S I have logged on the freq. Hoping
someone on the SCAN-DC list can offer up some info on the freqs usage.=20
235.1
"590 passing 235 for 210." A/C with Unk, Lots of references on this freq =
as
being AR related. Will keep working it.
385.3
Weak comms, flight of 2. Could not get much more out of it.
141.8
Flight of 2 on VICTOR. Switched AUX 138.3. Nothing further heard.
262.9
Likely HAWKEYE due to excessive Prop noise in background. A/C #43, no =
C/S
used. Referenced having a Co-Pilot. Comms were focusing on speed =
indicator
problem. For the freqs usage the A/C was talking to its base. 262.9"5" =
is a
freq used a lot at PAX RIVER but I have that as an ECHO CTRL freq. This =
is a
possibility but I want to hear more before jumping on that.
280.6
Photo Op being conducted in the PAX area. Several PAX helos being
Photographed. Not gonna tag this freq as yet as I just picked it up. It
might just have been temporarily assigned for this Photo-Op purpose. =
Lots of
references to the H-1 Upgrades HELOS. Will keep working this one.=20
