Just a couple of observations about this thread:
-MPD isn't the primary law enforcement response for metro 
tunnels/trains-Metro Transit PD is and there radio's work in the tunnels.
- There are numerous mutual aid frequencies available for MPD/Park 
POlice/Transit PD to use begining with PMARS-so while comm centers can use a 
telephone they can also come up on the radio on PMARS as well.
