You won't be able to solder copper to aluminum! You can do aluminum to
aluminum with special tools but not a soldering iron.
If you need to attach it solder the coax to a lug and screw the lug to =
the
aluminum.

I am working on my log periodic antenna.The feed line that hooks up to =
the
antenna broke.I am replacing it with a piece of rg/8 coax.The problem is =

am trying to solder the center conducter of the coax(copper) to the =
aluminum
plate of the antenna and it is not sticking.Do i need a special type of
solder or is something else wrong?
