Just in case there is any need to confuse the issue some more, "The
District of Columbia" indeed encompasses parts of Virginia and Maryland
but residents of Arlington and Bethesda would never state that they live
in DC. To attempt to clear up the issue of who would respond to a homicide
in Ronald Reagan National, their official website states that the
airport's location is in Arlington County, Virginia. I assume that
Arlington County would handle this case as the MWAA police are not
equipped to handle a homicide. As to response by MPD, General Grders don't
even allow MPD officers to carry a weapon onto airport property.
