Thx very much for the info, Lt.! Glad to know that 7G won't be down forever
- maybe Charlie can also be added if you get the new servers?

Yes, I do plan to get an 800 radio eventually - kinda waiting for the dust
to settle, prices to moderate, etc. From what I hear, I like the Radio
Shack one, but I prefer a desktop model to a portable - think I understood
that there may be one in the works, so for now am getting along with my old
VHF radios.

It would be difficult to do without - I've been monitoring for years, was a
volunteer at Hillandale (24) many moons ago, and have gotten to the point
where I _have_ to know what's going on!

Thanks again for your response - since I have you, could I ask one more
question? What are the chances of a tour of the new PSCC? I had thought,
or hoped, that there might be some sort of public dedication or something,
but either I missed it, or it wasn't to be...

Thx again.

Regards,

Doug Kitchener
