Luan -

First, give DC fire a chance.  Listen to their fireground talk-group,
usually 03, during a working fire and I think you'll hear the action you're
seeking.

As for MPDC, they recently went to a digital trunked system using some of
their old, UHF frequencies.  To get all of the info, including the talk
group IDs, I suggest you look at the database for DC on www.trunkradio.com.
I'd also suggest you obtain the Win96 software from www.starrsoft.com.  It's
shareware that makes it much easier to program your Pro96, particularly the
oddball info that you're going to need to use for MPDC.
