All,

Caught a couple of interesting flights this morning:

1. In the late 0700 hour-early 0800 hour (EST) Research 442 (NP-3D, Naval
Research Labs, Patuxent River NAS) was up on 310.25 working with a controller
callsign Green Dominion and a probable vessel callsign Ocean Statesman. They were
coordinating some sort of data transfer system with Research 442 acting as
both data transmitter and communications relay between Green Domnion and Ocean
Statesman.

2. In the late 0700 hour aircraft PT-SAF (probably Brazilian Air Force)
landed at Andrews. Interestingly, at about the same time, on HF (17.982 MHz) I
heard the Brazilian Air Force base at Manaus calling a Tristao (sounded like) w/no
response. Not sure if they were related or not.
