Hey Tim,

I have received dozens of reports here at MT HQ regarding the CAP
transmitting video on 148.150 MHz. Several folks here down south have
Ided the transmission mode as Slow Scan TV (SSTV). We can see the video
but we have not been able to clean it up yet. We have probably not
picked the right SSTV mode, but we are working on it.

On a related side note, it would appear we might have some new CAP HF
freqs being used as part of a new ALE network. As soon as I get
something more solid I will visit here again and pass along what we
have. If someone else on list knows the secret SSTV mode I would like to
hear from you.

73 all and good hunting,

FreeState XX transmitting pictures to Capflight XXX? on 148.1375
(Channel 3?)

Capflight responded telling freestate to email them from
"...Haggerstown(sp?) to verify link...".

Two 5 pics send so far #4 was 39,40.21 N 78,04.59 W at 1400 feet
description "Flood Area". I looked it up on a map and it's a place
called Sleepy Creek in West Virginia.
pic #5 was at 39,40.15N 78,04.56W

If anyone knows what tranmission mode they are using please let me know.
