[Scan-DC] video scanner questions

Ok.. in a related topic.. does anyone know the downloadlink/uplink freqs for
FOX'S SKYFOX helo that is used during traffic reports? I've always been
curious about this one..
Also.. what equipment do they use.. mfg.. etc?

John made a reference to his video scanner in an earlier post and I am
interested in peoples experiences.  I am a race fan and wonder the
applications and experiences of others.  I am also a scanning and photo fan
and often attend demonstrations a incident scenes.  Will a video scanner
allow me to view downlinks from the news and dc area police copters?  How is
the quality? I have seen some information that they will not pick up
security cameras is this true?  What else do they not pick up?   All answers
are appreciated and would love to hear users first hand answers as well as
what else people use them for.
