[Scan-DC] DC Area Customs Air Activity, 5 Aug 03

All,

1. In the early 1800 hour EDT heard Omaha 03 (UH-60 Blackhawk) calling Thor 
(Wash area controller) on 165.2375 (PL 100.0). Omaha 03 identified this freq as 
Net 1. At this time Omaha 03 was also working with the Wash Area Helo Unicom 
controller (120.75). 

2. Later, in the mid 1800 hour heard Thor (loud & clear) on 282.425 calling 
Omaha 03 and vectoring him towards an unidentified aircraft. Omaha 03 was not 
heard at my location but Thor acknowledged Omaha 03's comms.  Thor then said he 
would try another repeater and both stations were nil heard at my location. 
An interesting aside, Thor first identified himself as Hammer, then switched to 
Thor.
