Ron and all. They have fired up the LNG facility at Cove Point again. It =
had
apparently been inactive for 20 years. Local Radio says this is the =
largest
of its kind in the country.
They are probably going to be pretty sensitive about this for a while =
not
only because of the LNG aspect but also because of its proximity to =
Calvert
Cliffs. It is about 3 miles north of Calvert Cliffs.

CG Activities Baltimore issued an Mariner Information Bulletin on =

that a special security zone has been established in the areas of
3824N/7623W &=20
3823N/7622W from the surface to the bottom of the water in an areas=20
approximately 500 yds around the Cove Point LNG unloading facilities. =
All
vessels were=20
warned that unauthorized entry into this special security zone could =
result=20
arrest and heavy fines.
This special security zone went into effect at 0800Z 28 Jul and is in =
effect
until 26 Sep 2003.
