[Scan-DC] Montgomery FD Mutual Aid

Montgo responds into DC on mutual aid fairly regularly...usually a unit from
Rescue 1 (BCC). BCC actually responds into the District in two ways....they
will respond, as a volunteer organization, into upper Northwest for anyone
who calls them directly. This is because they solicit donations in that
area. They will also respond when dispatched by Montgo ECC (now PSCC), when
requested on mutual aid by DC. I've also heard units from Montgo Station
1, on Ga. Av. in Silver Spring, occasionally run mutual aid into DC.

Montgo will be simulcasting 7A on 154.16 and 7B on 153.95 indefinitely. No
other talk groups will regularly be simulcast on VHF. However, the PSCC has
the ability to patch ANY talk group onto 153.95 so, in the future, you might
hear other groups simulcast on it.

For an average command-level incident, e.g. a routine box alarm or
significant motor vehicle collision, the units will operate on one of the
incident groups. Usually this will be 7G, 7K or 7C. The incident commander
has the option of using additional channels within those groups. 7G, for
example, can expand onto 7H and 7I. 7K can expand onto 7L and 7M. There
are similar groups on Zone 8.

Zone 11, however, is available for a MAJOR incident, (e.g. an Amtrak
derailment), where more channels are required. Each command division gets
its own channel. Specifically: 11A=Command, 11B=Safety, C=Liaison, D=PIO,
E=Ops, F=Plans, G= Logistics, H=Finance, I=Hazmat, J=Water Rescue, K=Urban
Search & Rescue.

Get the picture?
