[Scan-DC] Montgomery FD Mutual Aid

Speaking of Mutual Aid,
I heard the Montgomery County dispatcher dispatch an ambulance on a
mutual aid call to DC last night. I was under the impression that DC
didn't regularly do mutual aid with the surrounding counties, because
volunteer departments couldn't "guarantee" staffing. I know I've never
heard a PG unit go on a mutual aid call to DC, and I don't think I've
ever heard a DC unit run mutual aid to PG.

It sounds like they're still simulcasting 7A on 154.16 and 7B on 153.95.
Are they simulcasting any of the other new channels on VHF? I thought I
heard some traffic on some of the other VHF frequencies, but couldn't make
out what was going on. One last thing, the trunkedradio.net entry shows a
whole bunch of "Large/Complex Incidents" talkgroups, but also has an entry
for "Major Incident Command" and "Major Incident Operations". Can
somebody explain how these will be used? Does a regular working fire go
to one of the Large/Complex Incident talkgroups?

Thanks,
Justin
