In the late 1500 hour (EST) aircraft 9CS (probably N149CS-P-3 AEW&C) was 
chatting with an unidentified aircraft (probably another P-3) on Blue 1 
(282.425). 9CS asked the other aircraft if he was a "spinner" or a nose 
radar. The other aircraft identified himself as a "spinner" (probably 
referring to the AWACS-type spinning radar they carry). 

9CS indicated they were having comms problems with the ground station 
(probably because of the local wx--low ceiling & heavy, steady rain) and 
asked if the other aircraft would be a relay for them. The other aircraft 
indicated they were just about to land. 9CS asked the other aircraft if he 
could tell him where he's stationed, since they were in the clear.  The other 
aircraft indicated that he'd rather not say over the air in the clear.
