Assuming they run down the RF&P:
161.55 road channel, simplex (defect detectors, calling signals when they feel like it)
160.41 dispatcher's channel, simplex
Assuming they take the NORFOLK Southern to Norfolk then
monitor 160.95 I guess. I'm not a big NS guy, but I just checked
my DeLorme Street Atlas and they show CSX/Amtrak down to
Newport News; the NS line down through Suffolk to Norfolk
does not share the Amtrak designation, but that is not conclusive.
Still, that would be pretty screwy not to take NS to Norfolk.
Amtrak might use 160.845 as their little intercom between crew
members on the train, but that is iffy.
Hope Eugene has an enjoyable trip!
