[Scan-DC] Scanner antenna ... inside attic or outside ground level???

Attic placement may depend on what the building is constructed of. If it is
a form of metal siding or some metal in the construction then the antenna
would be shielded and that is not desireable. I would go outside and avoid
the signal loss in the long cable run.
