If Cathy's question was "what's a good radio for aircraft (CAP)?" then how
about the Sony ICF-SC1 "Wavehawk" .... I have had great results with this
scanner with the stock antenna. Plus, if I owned a 780XLT with a digital
card I am quite sure it would be used exclusively for monitoring my area
digital trunked systems, not much else.
So which scanners are the best for aircraft monitoring? 108-137 and 225-400
