Hi Bill,
I'll see if I can dig up some frequencies. As for the jurisdictional mess,
I _think_ that the SHA is part of the DOT. BUT... depending on what ROADS
you're interested in as far as snow clearance, it could be Montgomery County
rather than State of MD. Try 155.985 for that, it's "local gummint channel
2" (at least as far as MCFRS is concerned). Actually, I think the County
Roads bunch (whatever they're called) may be on another channel, but worth a
try.
Foithermore... my girlfriend works for MNCPPC (Park and Planning), but for
the PG county division... they plow their own properties, but they also
assist PG county with snow removal if need be. Not sure if the same thing
happens here (Mtgy) but stands to reason.
Mud? :)
At any rate, will see if I can find the old frequency book later and post
something.
Which reminds, if you save the list emails, look for something from Eric
Carlson, he has a good list of Montgomery County stuff that went up maybe a
month ago. He may have sent it to me privately - I'll take a look later
today and see, and get back to you.
Regards,
Doug
