All,
1. In the late 1000 hour Activities Baltimore (157.15) worked w/CG Auxiliary
aircraft N109LD. N109LD w/2 POB had just initiated his patrol of the Upper
Chesapeake Bay and would be patrolling southward toward the Bay Bridge--would
be patrolling for almost 4 hours. In the late 1100 N109LD reported over the
David Taylor Research Basin (Annapolis) enroute to Cambridge MD for lunch.
2. In the mid 1100 hour CG Station Curtis Bay (157.175) in regular comms
checks w/CG 21-2046 (21-ft utlity boat) on patrol in the Baltimore Harbor
area. Activities Baltimore (157.15) also established radio guard w/CG 21-1574
(21-ft utility boat).
3. In the early 1200 hour the Maryland Pilot's Office (156.55) broadcast to
all maritime traffic in the Baltimore area heading for the
Chesapeake-Delaware Canal that the Cutters James Rankin (WLM-555, Baltimore) &
Farallon (WPB-1301, Miami Beach FL) would be servicing navigational aids &
conducting various operations most of the day in the area of the Craighill
Channel.
4, In the mid 1300 hour Activities Baltimore (157.15) told the James Rankin
that they were unable to get the WEFAX they had requested. Evidently from the
chat, the Rankin had also tried to get the WEFAX but had been unsuccessful.
5. In the early 1800 hour Activities Baltimore (157.15) working seurity
patrol w/CG Auxiliary 24-656 in connection w/parade of lights in the Inner
Harbor.
