I got this from Chris Larmore on the Long Island Scanning Resource
Maryland board...

Well, to the best of my knowledge, what MSP Salisbury has done is to
actually purchase 800 mhz Motorola radios to put in their cars in
Salisbury. The old Simplex Channel for MSP Salisbury is 39.780, which
is now being used by MSP Princess Anne, a newly opened Barrack in Somerset
County.
I dont believe they took out the Simplex Low Band Radios, just added the
800 MhZ Radios.
I noticed the change when MSP X moved into the new barrack. I called
barrack E and the DO
when I called told me they were now on the Wic 800 system.

On a side note, MSP V (Berlin Worcester Co) will soon be moving
to Worcester Co's new EDACS 800 system. They will be doing the same as
Wic, installing 800 radios
as well as keeping the old simplex lowband system. I expect MSP Berlin to
be on Worcesters
System by mid-December. I am posting updates in the worcester Forum as
they become available.
