Strange you mention this. I was hiking along the Bay shoreline of
the Randle Cliffs today (really low tide just south of Chesapeake
Beach and saw what I thought was the old Jet Ranger that the USPP
used to use before the big Huey looking Bells took over. I couldn't
quite figure out why a Park Police, let alone one that I though was
retired, would be operating out here as I don't know of much federal
park land out here. Maybe an exercise.
>We were out in Patuxent River Park south of Route 50 and east of Route 3/301
>(southeast of Bowie) about 1100 today, and had several navy blue with white
>top Park Service dual engine Huey helicopters buzzing the area. They seemed
>to be looking for something. Anyone hear what might have been the problem?
