[Scan-DC] Brief sniper scare at UMCP

The University of Maryland Police just got a little excited over here
after a resident in Denton Hall reported they heard a shot and found a
hole in their window. Several units were sent to secure the area and a
white Ford Econoline van in the vicinity was pulled over. After
questioning some people, the police found that somebody had been throwing
rocks at the reporting person's window to try and get their attention, and
one of the rocks broke the window. They also found a rock in the room.
Apparently the occupant heard rocks hit the window, and thought they were
shots being fired.

Just goes to show you how jumpy people are, and how stupid of an idea it
is to throw rocks at windows when there's a sniper on the loose (or at any other
time, for that matter...)
