[Scan-DC] Radio Shack PRO-2052

This base scanner, which can scan both Motorola and EDACS systems, has
been discontinued. It is now available for $79.97. The Radio Shack at
3425 King Street in Alexandria, phone number 703-845-0300, has one on
display. The display model has a slightly scratched cabinet, but the
computer says there is another one in stock.

My understanding from the Strong Signals review,

e=fi&class=recv&num=019, is that this scanner cannot simultaneously scan
in both the trunking and conventional modes. Thus, I'm not interested. It
does have the SAME weather feature.

Rich Wells said, "The radio case is entirely plastic and colored dark
gray. As such, it is extremely light and makes one wonder if an empty
plastic shell has been purchased!" I'll second that notion. It is a
featherweight.
