I believe any federal or state sponsored jamming of FRS would require a =
signed order from a Federal judge - I can't imagine any government agency =
would want to or could get approval to jam FRS for just these protests. =
It's a huge can of worms legally and even with FCC participation would run =
over numerous laws.
Plus, it seems tactically ineffective - Nextel was in use at the time by =
the protesters and MPD reported most groups had Nextel comms as well.=20
